This long switch is great for mainlines and is part of the Atlas Code 55 track line and has same reliability and durability as Atlas’ Code 80 track, but with a more realistic rail and tie profile to make it look more true-to-life. Code 55 track has nickel-silver rail, finer brown ties and a smaller, more realistic rail cross section than traditional N Scale Atlas track.
